In 2017, the Santa Cruz Senior Council published a report finding that 1 in 3 senior citizens in the county experience loneliness or isolation on a regular basis. Archipelago follows members of a seniors ukulele group as they navigate life after work and combat the stigmas of growing old through music, new habits, and friendship.
